Camp Packing List
for our Boy and Girl Campers
Luggage: A strong suitcase or duffle bag, clearly marked with your child's name and address, will help prevent luggage loss and safeguard your child's belongings. Let your child help pack and check his/her clothing so that they know what they have. This helps to prevent losses when they are packing to return home.
Minimum Suggested Items to pack
| The "Camper Packing List" is only a suggested list and should not be interpreted as mandatory. Each camper should arrive with a minimum of one change of clothes per day and an extra set for emergencies.
If the extended forecast is for multiple days of rain it is suggested that 2-3 extra changes of clothes be considered. |

It is advisable that children bring old, but usable clothes rather than new clothing or sneakers. All clothing must be labeled with the child's FIRST and LAST Name. (A magic marker may be used and will help ensure against lost clothing). Please indicate the number of items your child will take to camp in the spaces provided and enclose the list in the child's luggage.
The Camp DOES NOT launder clothing. Pack enough for the length of your child's camp stay and possible "weather change" conditions, e.g., cold days -- warm nights.
Star lake camp strives to teach modesty in dress, therefore the following dress standards are followed:
- No two-piece swimsuits are allowed
- No clothing which allows underwear to be exposed
- No spaghetti strap tops for the girls
- No clothing which leaves the midriff exposed
Prohibited Items: Your child is not permitted to bring alcohol, tobacco, drugs or weapons of any kind to camp. (Update 5.7.09) - Nor is any camper permitted or allowed to bring animals or pets to camp. Camp staff reserves the right to confiscate any object from your child believed to be inappropriate on the camp setting, or potentially harmful to others. Please assist us in our effort to keep camp safe and enjoyable by helping your child pack for camp.
Camp does not assume responsibility for the loss of personal property. Please do not send money, cameras, radios, CD players, mp3 players, video games, sports equipment, cell phones etc… with your child.
